Keith and Diane Butler

Keith and Diane Butler have shared more than 34 years of marriage, military life, faith, family, and service. Best friends as well as husband and wife, they are the proud parents of 21-year-old twins. Keith and Diane are both U.S. Air Force veterans whose lives have taken them through deployments, 20+ house relocations, command assignments, joyful births, difficult losses, and countless opportunities to serve others while sharing a woodworking hobby.

Keith is a recently retired Air Force colonel, pilot, and former commander at Whiteman Air Force Base. A convert to the Catholic faith, he was confirmed during the Easter Vigil while deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Diane is an Air Force veteran whose many vocations have included civil servant, adjunct professor, business owner, home educator for 17 years, and longtime military spouse volunteer and advocate.

With faith at the center of their lives, Keith and Diane served more than three decades together for military and civilian faith communities through Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Lector and an AMS Family Focused Retreat. Diane has answered the call to serve as a council member and volunteer Music Director. Keith has served as an Usher, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and Parish Council President and has a tough time holding any semblance of a note while attempting to sing.

Together, they have dedicated much of their lives to supporting Airmen, spouses, couples, leaders, children, and families through the joys and challenges of military life. Their shared vocation continues to be grounded in faith, family, friendship, and service.
